Burns and his band, Trick Pony, rode their way to three consecutive Top 10 singles (two of which — "Pour Me" and "Just What I Do” — were co-written by Burns). Keith performed alongside Joe Diffie for six years and penned the Diffie hit song “Whole Lotta Gone.” Following his run with the Ponies, Burns became a counterpart in the duo Burns & Poe. The pair (formed with Michelle Poe, formerly a DreamWorks recording artist) released a self-titled double CD, charted four Top 20 hits and was named MusicRow's “Independent Artist Of The Year” (2010). Keith has released five singles amidst his solo recording career (three of which went No. 1 in the UK) and produced a number of recording projects including Presley & Taylor and Will Dakota.
