The Music of Keith Burns

Jonesboro Georgia native Keith played bass and wrote top 20 song, “Whole Lotta Gone” for Joe Diffie before co-founding the Award winning, Grammy nominated Trick Pony with Heidi Newfield. ¬†After taking a hiatus in 2006, Keith, with Michelle Poe, won the 2010 Music Row Independent Artist of the Year.

Keith has written and recorded several big hits including “Pour me,” “Just What I do,” “Whole Lotta Gone,” and Music Row song of the year, “How long is Long enough,” as well as cuts by Sammy Kershaw, Hootie and the Blowfish, Moe Bandy and Trick Pony to name a few.

Keith Burns is a Singer/Songwriter from Atlanta, GA. He was a founding member of Grammy nominated, ACM, AMA award winning platinum selling trio, Trick Pony, as well as one half of 2010 independent artist of the year, Burns & Poe. He has four children, Frankie Jean, Savannah, Jared & Josh.
